About Meridian 9.
An independent software practice in Oregon, building one thing well: a business-management system for small and mid-sized companies, covering the path from inquiry to delivery.
What we build
One system, end to end.
Meridian 9 covers the records a company actually runs on: parts, inventory, bills of materials, quotes, purchase orders, builds, and shipments. One system, rather than a collection of tools that each hold a different version of the truth. The design goal throughout is plain: numbers that agree, because they come from the same place.
The model
A core system, adapted per client.
Off-the-shelf software asks the business to bend around the template. Fully bespoke software fits perfectly, but it starts from a blank page. Meridian 9 takes the road between: each engagement starts from the same well-tested core and adapts it — the catalog, the workflow, the vocabulary, the rules that make your business yours.
Starting from working software is why an engagement can begin with something to look at rather than a specification to imagine.
How we work
Scoped in writing, delivered in stages.
Every engagement is scoped in writing before work begins and delivered in stages, with progress measured against that written scope rather than against moving expectations. Deployments can run hosted or entirely on the client’s own premises. Commercial terms are set per engagement.

Tell us what your company makes and what your records run on today. Existing records come with you: part lists and catalogs from spreadsheets or older systems are imported, and the import reports anything it could not match rather than guessing.
